Jordi Ma Lu

Architect

Jordi received his Bachelor’s and Master of Architecture from Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) in Spain. In 2014, he spent one year as a visiting student at Drury University in the United States.

He currently teaches Environmental Design at the University for the Creative Arts in the UK. In 2016, after completing his Final Thesis1, he was a Teaching Assistant for the course ‘Barcelona Architecture, Art and the City’ at his alma mater.

Before TnJ Studio, he worked in various architecture and landscape offices worldwide, including places like Beijing and Barcelona. Notable names include Turenscape, Mateo Arquitectura, Flores & Prats, and Gross Max.

Jordi is a registered architect with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) in the UK and holds an architect’s licence in Spain.

Tianyi Jiang

Landscape Architect

Tianyi holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Edinburgh (ESALA) in the UK, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Beijing Forestry University in China.

She received the Student Merit Award from WLA World Landscape Architecture in 2017 for her project ‘Reclamation of Whitesands Quarry.’2 In 2019, her graduation design project ‘More than a Channel’3 was honoured with the Master’s Thesis Award from UnIATA International Architecture Thesis Award.

Tianyi has experience working as a landscape architect at Gross Max in Edinburgh, UK. Her professional journey spans distinguished firms like Martha Schwartz Partners in London, UK, and the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design (BIAD) in China, which extensively contributed her expertise in the field of landscape architecture.
